My name is Mrs. Koonce.  This is my sixth year as a teacher at Liberty Middle School.  I grew up in Edwardsville out at Holiday Shores.  I graduated Edwardsville High School in 2000 (yes, that was way before you all were born!). I have always loved math, so much so that I majored in math at SIUE.  As you can see from the pictures, I have 3 poodles...yes, that's 3!  I am also a self-proclaimed math geek and I love my Cardinal's baseball.  I am also the EHS Varsity Girls Golf Coach, a position that makes me incredibly proud!  I am a third generation teacher.  My mother, Ms. Koonce, was at Lincoln Middle School for over 20 years, and my gradmother was Mrs. Koonce, a Junior High teacher from Waterloo, Illinois (coincidentally, also a golf coach).  In addition to being the Varsity Girls Golf Coach, I have also taken on the roles of Botball (robotics club) Coach, and Intramural Golf Coach.
